Every Speculate account comes with a wallet already attached — you never have to install an extension or manage a seed phrase before you can play. The moment you sign up, whether with an email or an existing wallet, Speculate creates an embedded, self-custodial trading wallet for you behind the scenes — powered by Privy. It supports both EVM and Solana, and it’s the account that actually holds your funds: your USDC lives here, and this is what pays every competition entry, Duel stake, and HyperStake bet.
Self-custodial means exactly what it sounds like. You hold the keys. Speculate can create the wallet and make it easy to use, but it can’t move your funds without your signature — and you can export the wallet at any time to use it anywhere else.

What the wallet page shows

Your wallet page is the single source of truth for your funds on Speculate:
  • Available USDC balance — what you can spend right now on entries, Duels, or HyperStake
  • Your trading wallet address — the actual on-chain address behind your account
  • Total spent in competitions — the running sum of entry fees you’ve paid
  • Total earnings — everything you’ve won and claimed back
  • Total withdrawals — everything you’ve pulled out to an external wallet
  • A unified activity feed — every deposit and withdrawal in one chronological list, so you never have to cross-reference separate histories to see where your money went

Networks

Speculate runs primarily on HyperEVM. That’s the network your wallet is built for, and it’s where new deposits, competition entries, and Duel escrows all settle today. Arbitrum is a legacy network being wound down. It was Speculate’s original home before the move to HyperEVM, and it’s no longer where new activity happens.
Still holding USDC on Arbitrum? A one-click, gasless migration moves it over to HyperEVM for you — no manual bridging, no gas to find. And you don’t need to worry about timing it around anything you have running: any competitions you joined on Arbitrum keep playing out normally while your balance migrates.
